"Yeah, like you did," Topher agreed. "Taking my only weapon was kinda genius. I mean, I went and built a new one and it sort of worked, but for the short-term, you know, good planning." That felt like it should have been weirder to say than it actually was. "What ended up happening, anyway? I mean, I know Victor found you--" okay, that was weird to say-- "but then what?
