Okay. The world was maybe almost over. Topher was more than a little freaked.

So out came the dice and the cape, and after making a quick annoucement, he set up at a toadstool with some character sheets for some pre-apocalyptic Dungeons and Dragons.

Kid had priorities.

She thought for a moment, then nodded. "Okay, so while you're grinding, I reach forward and tear your shirt off. And then look surprised like I totally hadn't meant to do that. And then go to bite you again, except I end up catching your finger in my mouth. And kinda sucking on it."

Squall reached out a hand for Jono's shoulder. "He's not worth it."

Unlike Rinoa and Karla, who were more pouty than angry, Jono looked like he was actually going to hurt Topher. "Don't do this."

Good job, Karla. Topher shrieked, high-pitched and long enough to probably raise some eyebrows from way at the other side of camp.

And then he kept going.

Jono exhaled and directed his glower toward a nearby toadstool, instead.

"It isn't as though it's a difficult name."

Jono was not going to punch anyone in the face. Jono was just giving Topher very nasty looks with eyes that had shifted to blood-red in a blink.
