Okay. The world was maybe almost over. Topher was more than a little freaked.

So out came the dice and the cape, and after making a quick annoucement, he set up at a toadstool with some character sheets for some pre-apocalyptic Dungeons and Dragons.

Kid had priorities.

[[OCD is up! Yep, idea stolen from Buffy 7x22, "Chosen." Anyone can play, and if you want to ICly be talked into it, lemme know and I'll have Topher get naggy. I have an AIM chat for this if you wanna pop in -- rpwithinanrpyegods. Have fun!

"What did you get?" Jono peered over to see if Squall's character was at least smarter than his. "If you've got a half-shred of intelligence to yours, Thorgy here would probably be willing to go and smash things for you. Probably in exchange for biscuits."

"How do you pronounce 'Aaploe Egraa'?" she asked, pronouncing it wrong.

"You grab a character sheet there," Topher explained, pointing to the pile. "It'll give you your race, abilities and alignment. Then I'll start going over what's happening. There'll be, like, a quest and stuff, and you guys have to solve it."

"A rogue Halfling," Squall told him. "Whatever that is. High intelligence, dexterity, and charisma, but low strength and wisdom. I don't have any biscuits in my inventory, but I have some copper pieces. How much do biscuits cost?"

Rinoa was going to search through the pile of sheets until she found one suitable to her needs. A magic-user who had super-wonderful stats and was a pretty pretty elf with -- oooh, no, a HALF-elf. Only the pretty half, right?

The name on the sheet was Bedra Ker. That could be improved. With some Ys, and some flourishes. Bedrystaia Kyrlia the Just.

And now, to beef up those stats! They looked way too low as they were.
