Okay. The world was maybe almost over. Topher was more than a little freaked.

So out came the dice and the cape, and after making a quick annoucement, he set up at a toadstool with some character sheets for some pre-apocalyptic Dungeons and Dragons.

Kid had priorities.

"... My bad," Jono intoned, grimacing a little. "Thorgy didn't think those crocs would be so hungry."

Thorgy, mind, was a little dim.

"I liked those shoes!" Rinoa huffed. "Bedrystaia Kyrlia the Just had awesome diamond-studded boots that looked amazing with her outfit and now we're all gonna have to be barefoot!"

"Well, it isn't as though she did it on purpose." A beat. "And I think those boots made her thighs look a little thick."

So there, Rinoa. So there.

"Ooooh, buuuuurn!"

That was helpful, Karla.

"Your cult is stupid and I heard the Golden Goddess dyes her hair," Rinoa snapped.

"Fine, then you can't have any more of the tithed wine!" Karla announced, tossing her hair. "Or the tithed rations, either. I hope your cut-rate magician--who can't even blow up a tavern can pull rabbits out her hat to eat instead!"

"I have a Mage Hand and I can use that to bitchslap you," Rinoa said.

That was not what that spell did.

How quickly the bonds of sisterhood were shattered. Woe.

TOPHER SHOULD HAVE LET THEM HAVE SEX.

"You'd better have a mage hand," Karla said. "Because otherwise I'd snack your wrist for even trying."

"We should have a catfight," Rinoa decided. "One that's all mean and hair-pully and then somehow leads to us having really hot sex. Then I get to be in the order. And next town, I get wine."

IT WAS PERFECT.

Especially because it'd upset Topher.
