Okay. The world was maybe almost over. Topher was more than a little freaked.

So out came the dice and the cape, and after making a quick annoucement, he set up at a toadstool with some character sheets for some pre-apocalyptic Dungeons and Dragons.

Kid had priorities.

Squall reached out a hand for Jono's shoulder. "He's not worth it."

Unlike Rinoa and Karla, who were more pouty than angry, Jono looked like he was actually going to hurt Topher. "Don't do this."

"I don't mind Blue," Topher pointed out, ignoring Squall. Because he wanted to die today. "I mean, Magenta's cooler, but..."

Billy reached over to try to cover Topher's mouth with his hand. "I think he meant to say he's sorry for insulting you!" he said quickly.

Though he wasn't exactly nodding in agreement or anything. There was a muffled noise.

Jono was not going to punch anyone in the face. Jono was just giving Topher very nasty looks with eyes that had shifted to blood-red in a blink.

Squall moved between Jono and the suicidal kid, and looked Jono square in the eyes. "Stand down!" he ordered.

Jono exhaled and directed his glower toward a nearby toadstool, instead.

"It isn't as though it's a difficult name."
